Colleen Settle- Fiddle
Michael Corbett- Guitar, Vocals
Colleen hails from the New York area and has been in Savannah since 2006. A superb Irish fiddler, Colleen brings years of professional experience and an extensive catalog of tunes to the group.
Michael is a native New Englander who moved to Savannah from Plymouth, MA in 2005. Michael played professionally in the Boston area starting in 1995. Michael sings and primarily plays guitar for Seldom Sober, though he also toys around with banjo, octave mandolin, bodhran, English concertina, and other instruments.
Seldom Sober has opened for Derek Warfield & The New Wolfe Tones and has appeared at such events/venues as Tara Feis 2009, Gaels of Music at the Emma Kelly Theater in Statesboro, Kevin Barry's, River Street, Sun City SC, and Murphy's Law Irish Pub. As part of The Savannah Ceili Band, Colleen and Michael have appeared at the Savannah Irish Festival, Tybee Festival, Savannah Folk Festival, and First Friday for Folk Music. Colleen and Michael participate in an informal Irish session nearly every Sunday at Kevin Barry's Irish Pub in Savannah from 6:30-8:30 (PM, of course).
